The Intelligence Leaks

The more I hear about the intelligence leaks on the Ukrainian battlefield situation the more sloppy and undisciplined it makes our intelligence services look. The investigation they’ve announced had best identify the leaker(s) quickly, establish definitively that they’re fakes, or our intelligence services are likely to face repercussions.

Except the images with (likely) edited casualty figures*, they look consistent with US intelligence “product”. Unless its a false flag of the highest order — the US DOJ won’t be launching an investigation at the request of the DOD; the DOD of course knows the daily status report that this would have been part of.

*the purported original casualty figures ironically weren’t valuable at all, because the estimates for Ukrainian casualties were likely sourced from the Ukrainian government’s public figures. While the Russian ones are convergent with where pro-Russian bloggers estimate.

It is also a huge tell the product is legitimately from the US government — why would the Russians edit their own disinformation product post-release?
