Six Degrees of Whatsis

I’d meant to pass this along some time ago and it slipped my mind. Over the holidays I learned something I found amusing. David Kilcullen, consultant to Gen. David Petraeus in Iraq, whose work I’ve admired for some time now, and to whose articles in Small Wars Journal I’ve linked from time to time is the godson of a dear old friend of ours. I’ve seen his pictures as an infant from the late 60’s when his dad was a grad student in Toronto for, probably, a quarter century or more. I suspect he’s changed somewhat since then.

Which simply goes to prove what a small world it is.

  • That’s hilarious. Seven degrees of separation indeed.
