Predicting the Outcome of the 2016 Election

At Forbes Thomas Del Beccaro has a set of predictions for the outcome of the 2016 election that you might want to take a look at. In essence he predicts that the Congress will remain in Republican control whoever wins the presidency, hedges by presenting predictions in the event of each presidential candidate ultimately prevailing, and then, in my opinion stumbling, issues an opinion that that might be either a prediction or an expression of preference:

Trump has a long history of delegating authority to those best able to do certain tasks. Hillary does not. Hillary will not be able to court Congress because it is her way or the highway. Trump has Pence. Donald therefore trumps Hillary.

He also predicts something I think is likely to be true: a Hillary Clinton presidency will much more closely resemble the Obama presidency than it does the presidency of Bill Clinton.

“Trump has a long history of delegating authority to those best able to do certain tasks.”

How does he know this? Just based upon the public record I think you could just as readily say that Trump delegates, but when things don’t work out he has a crack legal team that sues, mostly successfully, to get them out of trouble (and debt).
