Wow, that was incredibly detailed. I had to give up about 3/4 of the way through. Short of hiring a large firm to audit all the cases, I don’t know that it will be possible to know how many murders took place in Chicago over the time frame covered. (Which is exactly the point.)
I’m really impressed by the level of obfuscation the city has put into that. Too bad the bond agencies can’t be fooled that easily.
