I have just learned that a very old friend has died. How old? I have known him for almost 70 years, since he was a small child. I babysat for him, introduced him to reading, taught him to play the guitar, which he proceeded to make his life.
His wife died a little less than a year ago and he never really recovered. Rest in peace.
