I’ve run across another diction that puzzles me. Does “unthinkable” mean that you should do everything in your power to avoid whatever it is or does it mean that you just don’t want to think about it and hope it all goes away?
Example: The sequester is unthinkable.
Example: “Rethinking the Unthinkable”
