Given the coordinated terrorist attacks in Paris last week, the attempted stadium bombing in Germany, and the most recent goings-on, the “threat of imminent attack” in Belgium, what do you think is going to happen in Europe?
- Nothing. The Europeans will put up with the tension, addition expense, and occasional murders by terrorists indefinitely.
- The Europeans will eventually get tired of the above and take action on the ground in the Middle East.
- The Europeans will eventually get tired of the above and start expelling Muslims, largely on an ethnic basis.
- The Europeans will eventually get tired of the above and start expelling Muslims including Muslim citizens, largely on an ethnic basis.
- They won’t have to do anything. It will all eventually settle down and everything will go back to the way it was before.
Europeans will replace current leadership with a more nationalistic group, making it more difficult for Muslims to immigrate, and more uncomfortable for them to stay. But mass deportations? No.
So the German plot was a real thing and not just a hoax? I’ve been unable to follow news to closely lately (I’ve had the funniest surgery in the medical library, which is debilitating), but I thought that one had been another case of phone terrorism.
