Today’s Update on the Pet Food Recall—4/18/2007

Menu Foods has added one additional food to the recall:  Natural Life Vegetarian with the date Nov/22/09 on the bottom of the can.

The pet food industry won’t be able to start re-building confidence until we stop getting daily additions to the recall list.  That’s a simple reality.

We also need to see more explicit revelations from, ChemNutra, the company that sold the tainted wheat gluten to Menu Foods and their Chinese supplier.  Where else was the tainted wheat gluten sold?  Who else was selling it in China?
