Three Questions

Rather than analyzing Steven Metz’s article at World Politics Review, “How Russia Crafted a Three-Dimensional Strategy to Regain Global Influence”, I have three questions for Mr. Metz.

How many countries has Russia attacked or invaded over the period of the last 30 years?

In how many countries’ internal politics has the U. S. intervened over the period of the last 30 years?

What country sells the most armaments to other countries?

I do not think the Russians are our friends. I think that criticism of Russia is completely legitimate. However, it’s a lot harder to fault them for doing what we ourselves are doing on a much greater scale.

I’d like for the U. S. to be in a position to criticize Russia’s bad behavior. It would take a complete transformation of our foreign policy.
