I’ve upgraded The Glittering Eye to the latest version of the WordPress blogging engine, a process I find extremely nerve-wracking. Which explains why I avoid doing it for as long as I can.
At this point I haven’t changed my old template—just the underlying scripts so if you see any oddities (other than the oddities that have always been there), please drop a comment so I can take a look at them.
One of the niceties of the latest revision of WordPress is that it purportedly makes modifying templates easier. I’ll believe it when I see it. There are a number of changes I’ve been planning for, well, years that I may finally get around to.
Hi Dave. One oddity I’ve noticed that has nothing to do with your actual page. Rather in flicking through your technorati reactions I noticed a rather hefty influx of Soob links to Glittering Eye that represent publishings that simply don’t exist. I suspect this has something to do with the RSS fed “Bloglist” I added some weeks ago. Of course my own technical knowledge is, shall we say, limited. I’ll contact technorati about it, of course, but any ideas on what is causing this?
Yes, I’ve noticed that myself. It’s an artifact of your RSS-driven bloglist.
