The Count

So far this Fourth of July weekend 13 people have been murdered and another 54 injured. We’re on track to exceed the largest number killed as well as the largest number wounded for a Fourth of July weekend here.

Chicago isn’t the only city experiencing an increase in violence. So are New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Dallas, Houston, New Orleans, St. Louis, and Baltimore, just to name a few. I attribute the increases to stress.

Temporary mental incapacity due to stress caused by loud popping sounds.
No, this is what justification of violence looks like.

This is the sound of urban police no longer having the back of their bosses, many of whom are actively hostile to law-and-order policing because that’s so racist. So to no one’s surprise LEOs stand back and let it all be, trusting in God to sort them out.

Well, I differ only in that I doubt police stop much crime in the act. Although many if not most criminals are repeat offenders and the police often do catch them eventually, which lowers crime rates overall.
But when a new crop of youngsters comes of age every single day in a large city, and the society in which they are immersed tells them they have been given a raw deal in life, for which they are justified when committing violent acts and have no obligation to conform to an economic system they’ve been taught is deliberately slanted against them because of their race. What the hell do you expect?
Well, what you get is violent anarchy, which is the definition of A.A. society for the last 50 years.
As for the murder rate, they’re better armed, at a younger age, every year. Maybe soon those three year olds will be shooting back.
