The Watcher’s Council has announced its picks for the most outstanding posts of the preceding week. The winning Council post Right Wing Nut House’s post, “Iraq: Quit or Commitâ€. I disagree that those are the alternatives but I can’t deny the power of the post. Second place honors went to Gates of Vienna for “The Nation-State vs. Anarchy and Imperialismâ€. These were the posts for which I voted this week so I’m quite gratified at this result. And a little surprised that my own rather dry submission received any votes at all.
The winning non-Council post was 3AM Magazine’s post, “Bad Faithâ€. The second place non-Council post was Michael J. Totten’s first-hand report from the combat zone of the Israeli-Hezbollah hostilities “Terror Warâ€.
For a complete list of the results see here.
If you’d like your own post to be considered by the Council next week, the instructions for doing so are here.
