The Watcher’s Council has announced its picks for the most outstanding posts of the preceding week. The winning Council post was Dr. Sanity’s post, “No Relation to Reality, Indeedâ€. In this post Pat comments on the treatment of women in Muslim countries with particular attention to female genital mutilation. The second place finisher was my own post “The Death of 1,000 Cutsâ€.
The winning non-Council post was Dan Simmons’s story about an encounter with a time traveller. For one reason or other the story was removed and the linked entry is a copy from Dan’s forum. The second place post was Captains Quarters’s post, “Saddam Targeted American Assets For Terrorism: Case Closedâ€.
