The Watcher’s Council has announced its picks for the most outstanding posts of the preceding week. The winning Council post was Done With Mirrors’s post, “Liberal Fascismâ€. There was an unprecedent 7-way tie for second place. I think that this reflects differing tastes and opinions within the Council as well as the generally high quality of the Council’s submissions.
The winning non-Council post was Iowahawk’s “Kangaroo Courtâ€, Dave Burge’s lampoon of the recent NYT story about increased levels of violent crime among returning Iraq War veterans. Tied for second place honors were Gates of Vienna’s “It’s All Israel’s Fault” and QandO Blog’s “About the Anarcholibertarians”., which I nominated.
Since I voted for Callimachus’s post and nominated and voted for the QandO Blog post, I’m reasonably satisfied with this outcome.
