The Cliff Notes version of…Roman Catholicism:
Damned if you do and damned if you don’t.
I’d be interested in other people’s Cliff Notes versions of religions, causes, beliefs, ideologies, etc. It would be especially good if the observation were made from the inside looking out rather than the outside looking in.
Speaking as a former Mormon:
Don’t drink, don’t smoke, go to church, do your “callings”, go on a mission, return with honor, marry with honor (in the temple), die with honor (and grandchildren).
