I’d go with E, nobody wants a to see a Mcgovern rerun. C is also possible depending on his deal making ability and ability to control is surrogates. Then, there’s H, meteor strike, South African Rabies, etc.
If Chris Matthews does not reflect the views of mainstream media, I don’t know who does, and Matthews feels no thrill up his leg for Sanders victory.

C & E are the best possibilities. C because the majority of the country does not (yet) support a nanny state. E, because if Bernie is denied the nomination, via DNC back room manipulation, his supporters will revolt and not get in line to vote for a more establishment fill-in candidate.
I have to pick E. Too many of the mal-educated young think they’re owed a living, Bernie’s the guy to get it for them, and if he’s not the candidate they’ll rant and rave and stay home even if Bernie says vote Democratic. Fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice shame on you.
