Miss me? My wife and I and our two dogs, Tally and Jenny, went to the Quad Cities where my wife and Tally competed in the Scott County Kennel Club dog show held at the QCCA Expo Center. Tally was entered in canine agility and conformation. Tally is a finished champion but since she’s 8 years old she competes in the Veteran’s Class.
Of course, we stayed with Bob and Nancy at Varner’s Caboose. The dogs just love it there and we always find our stay there a tremendous stress-reducer. Bob and Nancy keep ducks, geese, and llamas so I thought I show you a few pictures of the whole gang.
Here are another picture of the llamas. Sorry, Steve and Robbo, no coffin-nails but plenty of spit.
Here’s the conformation judge giving Tally a lookover:
Tally is paying very close attention to my wife as they do Up and Back:
Here are all the competitors for Working Group Best Veteran. I just loved that beautiful light red Siberian Husky (so did the judge).
Tally looked great and showed her heart out. She does love to show!
Our other two Samoyeds have been staying with our vet over the weekend. We had a great time this weekend but I can’t wait to see them!
Thanks for sharing the pictures of your weekend—! Ann
What a beautiful Sami!!! Tally’s a jewel.
Quad-Cities, eh? Not far from my corner of the planet. I thought I felt a disturbance in the Force this weekend. Now I know. 🙂
