The Illinois Supreme Court has refused to take the heat off the Illinois legislature in the matter of Gov. Rod Blagojevich:
SPRINGFIELD–The Illinois Supreme Court has rejected Atty. Gen. Lisa Madigan’s attempt to have Gov. Rod Blagojevich declared unfit to hold office, court officials said.
The high court issued the order without comment.
This is no surprise to anyone who knows anything about the Illinois Supreme Court. They don’t want this any more than the Illinois legislature does.
