Well, our summer home improvement plan is moving along nicely. First, we put in a new fence segment between our neighbor to the north’s yard and ours—we had the other three sides put in a couple of years ago. And now we’ve replaced our front walk with the Unilock walk above. The old cement walk was nearly 70 years old and was showing definite signs of wear, cracked and crumbling in places (not unlike me in some ways). It was time.
They did a nice, workmanlike job although I’m not too crazy about what they did to our downspout during the installation process. Now we’ll need to have that taken care of. That wasn’t an expense I’d anticipated.
