My siblings and I have been doing some texting and in the course of the conversation I received some photos of my grandmother’s wedding dress that I thought you might find interesting. My grandparents were married on November 15, 1913.
Here’s a picture that shows the detail work a little better:
That’s simply a beautiful dress! There used to be a shop close to where I live that featured era type clothes like the one in your photograph. They would rotate the clothes, dressing the two mannequins in the front window, to depict seasonal changes of the year, including wedding dresses in June. I loved looking at what was worn in this forgone age. They always seems so classy, lacy and feminine!
