More on the World Bank Report on Biofuels

I’m still looking for the World Bank report on biofuels that I commented on last week. This morning I heard on the radio that the report had been “withdrawn”. One man’s withdrawn is another man’s suppressed I presume.

I think the World Bank should release the report. If U. S. biofuels subsidies are causing world food prices to increase markedly, I think it’s important that we know about that. If World Bank analysts are producing flawed reports with inflammatory charges against the United States, I think it’s important that we know about that, too.
