I strongly recommend you read Juan Cole of Informed Comments post for today, “Top Ten Myths about Iraq in 2005”. There is no question in my mind that this is his best post of the year. Whether you’re left, right, or center you are almost certain to find something you’ll disagree with but IMO most of his points are right on the money. This is a must-read post regardless of what your position is. You might even learn something
It is a good post. Point ten is a bit tedious although expected. It is indeed the sort of thing he should do more often, when he is not off in Academic Left Land.
