The Illinois 5th Congressional District is holding a primary election to fill the seat formerly held by Rahm Emanuel, who’s taken the job of chief-of-staff with the Obama Administration.
If you live in the district and are registered to vote, vote! This is Chicago and in Chicago the primary is the election. A small turnout is expected and with a small turnout anything can happen. I’ll be voting for Quigley.
I’ll also be doing the election judge thing so I’ll be very surprised if I get a chance to post today and in all likelihood tomorrow I’ll be completely exhausted. We work a sixteen hour (or more) day.
See you on Wednesday. Or maybe Thursday.
