I want to commend an article at Politico from Larry Sabato on winning “down-ballot” elections in 2016. As I’ve said before, I think the 2016 election will be a turnout election. I’ll also predict that if Democratic primary votes are low, it will hurt the party’s chances of making up lost ground regardless of the outcome of the election in November.
