My wife pointed out an Apple app, Explain Everything, to me. Here’s their presentation:
Marshall McLuhan used to talk about “hot media” and “cool media”. Using those terms a PowerPoint presentation is “hot” relative to an “Explain Everything” presentation which I think is cool by practically any standard.
Evernote and MS OneNote have been doing the import anything from anywhere for years. I do not know if they can do the whiteboard and playback. I think Evernote has an app, but I am not sure about MS OneNote.
A tablet would be good for a scrapbook app, but I would want local storage.
Here’s something you all probably didn’t expect today, but I hope it can bring a smile to some.
Malcolm Forbes had a quote that appeared on his magazine’s masthead for years: “with all thy getting, get understanding.” Here is a riff on that. “With all thy living…..make sure you actually live.” Let’s see who knows 80’s trivia (ten bonus points):

I was actually listening to one of their earlier albums (“Express”) yesterday. I don’t know if I would consider them one hit wonders — they were at least pretty popular when I was in college, but if your favorite band is celebrating 50 years, its probably a matter of perspective.

You obviously get my kibitzing. Maybe they were not one hit wonders. But I just love music of all types and like to have fun with it. I hope Dave, who runs this magnificent and cerebral site, isn’t having a heart attack over talk about Led Zeppelin or The Rolling Stones here.
