Writing at Mother Jones Edwin Rios covers a lot of the same territory that I did yesterday about our lousy tax system. The main difference between the two posts being that unlike me Mr. Rios never tells us what he’s in favor of. By inference we can conclude he opposes income and American companies doing business overseas.
OT: I’m glad the President has been reassuring this week about the progress against ISIS, else I’d be worried about stories like this:
‘I grabbed my children and ran’ — Families flee ISIS in Iraq
Apparently the Iraqi defense of Ramadi is finally collapsing.
Oh well, at least we all know now that Hillary doesn’t always tip at the counter of Chipotle. (Does anyone ALWAYS tip at Chipotle?)
But the Iraqi military re-took Tikrit (and the Shi’ite militias killed a lot of the remaining residents). They’re winning!
Is it me or is the entire ME looking like Lebanon circa 1982, but even more violent?
Which proves our strategy is working.
