I just noticed that my eleventh blogiversary passed without my taking note of it. During that time a lot has happened and a lot has changed around here. For example, I no longer do collections of links to other blog posts, something I used to do on a daily basis. I just found it too exhausting. And I also rarely do long form research pieces. They’re a lot of work and I don’t believe anybody but me reads them anyway.
Over the last eleven years I’ve written more than 10,000 posts amounting to more than 5 million words in all. Sometimes I think I’m the last solo, independent blogger around.
In the spirit of contrarianism, I’ll take note of this post. Thanks, Dave, the blogosphere is a better place for your efforts.
Congrats on another milestone, and thank you for the time you devote to this very sane and intelligent blog.
Glad you’re there, and congratulations on 11 years! I read ’em!
Without going into great detail, I really appreciate your blogging, especially the mix of informed skepticism about business strategies and political ‘solutions’ to larger economic and social trends. I discovered you through ZenPundit about 9 years ago and have been rewarded ever since.
