Personally, I think Bush v Clinton is worse outcome and it’s because I think of future generations. I am especially concerned about the children – the children who, 100 years of now, will get tricky test questions about all the Bushes and Clintons in high office. The brighter ones will wonder how a country of 300+million people could produce few candidates with a different last name.
Finally starting to realize the utter futility of voting, hmm?
And Andy, what makes you think the students 100 yrs from now will care who are Presidents are? How many high schoolers today have any idea who Taft & Wilson were? He’ll, at the moment I can’t remember who won the right to be shot in 1880, or the guy who replaced him, which is in that time frame for my generation. (Garfield & Arthur.)
