Disruption

If the gigantic brains in Silicon Valley want to disrupt something, they might turn their attention to creating a dry-clean sanitary sidewalk for San Francisco:

How dirty is San Francisco? An NBC Bay Area Investigation reveals a dangerous mix of drug needles, garbage, and feces throughout downtown San Francisco. The Investigative Unit surveyed 153 blocks of the city – the more than 20-mile stretch includes popular tourist spots like Union Square and major hotel chains. The area – bordered by Van Ness Avenue, Market Street, Post Street and Grant Avenue – is also home to City Hall, schools, playgrounds, and a police station.

As the Investigative Unit photographed nearly a dozen hypodermic needles scattered across one block, a group of preschool students happened to walk by on their way to an afternoon field trip to city hall.

“We see poop, we see pee, we see needles, and we see trash,” said teacher Adelita Orellana. “Sometimes they ask what is it, and that’s a conversation that’s a little difficult to have with a 2-year old, but we just let them know that those things are full of germs, that they are dangerous, and they should never be touched.”

In California water is too precious to be used for cleaning sidewalks.

CA has been the petri dish in developing social progressive policy. Whether it’s water policies in a draught- prone state (nil), managing illegal Immigration (officially creating a sanctuary state), fiscal policies (designated the worst business friendly state in the union), housing (rent control advcacy state-wide), the highest class inequality (having Silicon Valley isolatng themselves from a poverty-stricken populace they supposedly support)……The hypocrisy here knows no bounds, in a state immersed and totally governed by social progressive Democrat ideological policy.

You need to have your head examined, Jan. Weren’t you paying attention as we were lectured by Michael about the absolute idyllic conditions of CA and Frisco? 😉

For all its flaws, California makes a great Petri dish or canary in the coal mine. Whatever crazy policy maims Californians the rest of us won’t adopt, but the rest we might. The availability of California saves the lives of numerous mice and monkeys that we might otherwise have to use in our experiments.

    Mengele would understand.
