There hasn’t been much going on in the blogosphere while I was in communicado in the Quad Cities. Here’s what’s caught my eye:
- Armchair Generalist comments sensibly on idiocy from Newsweek.
- Aziz Poonawalla of City of Brass has praise for his home town of Houston’s handling of the coming of Hurricane Rita.
- Collounbury has an interesting post on overliquidity and asset price boom in the Middle East.
- Gee, it seems like just a month ago when Juan Cole was saying that immediate withdrawal of our troops from Iraq would be nuts. Yep, just under a month ago. So what’s changed?
- In case anyone was wondering my score on the latest political quiz that’s making the rounds of the blogosphere the last day or so put me right on the cusp of libertarian and centrist which is what I would have expected.
