Asking Again

As I read all of the handwringing about Bernie Sanders’s reluctance to throw in the towel, I can only ask a question I’ve asked before. What in Bernie Sanders’s past behavior leads them to believe that he will “suspend his campaign” (in the humorous phrase the kids use today for “surrender”) for the good of the Democratic Party?

Since the obese lady has not sung nor made a final count of the first round nominating ballot, there is no reason for him to concede, surrender, kiss the ring, etc.

No idea. The man and his supporters have, for many months, made clear a commitment to their agenda transcends any party loyalty and if necessary will smash this one to make it happen. Sanders’ history is one of direct action against whatever rules are considered unjust.

I would guess Democrata have become accustomed to a left that eventually falls into line and can’t conceive of an alternate outcome.
