My wife and I just finished watching the hooding ceremony as our niece completed her studies at the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, live streaming on the Internet. Congratulations, Tatiana!

Good for her! Does she plan to specialize at all?
I know what her love is: marine.
Don’t hear that every day. That would be a difficult field wouldn’t it? Limited opportunities to make a living?
Congrats…and very cool about the streaming.
As for aquatics- it is a niche field but as such, there aren’t as many people going into it either. From my vantage, it seems like supply is pretty well matched to demand and people who want to specialize in it have been successful (one of my classmates was one of the vets who inspired Harry Connick Jr’s character in the Dolphin Tale movie- it was actually a composite of a couple of different vets who had been involved in the rescue and rehab.) being willing and able to relocate where the jobs are would be key.
