Speaking of gripes there are still no signs that the street in front of my house is going to be paved any time soon. Given the holiday weekend I’m guessing we won’t see anything until Tuesday at the latest. Let me put it this way. If a guy comes around putting up signs on Monday warning us to get our cars off the street for the construction crews, I’m going to be upset. Three weeks and counting.
Interestingly I’ve been going through the same thing where I work. They did a bit a work earlier in the week (I almost thought I’d not make it in to work one day due to construction blocking so much of the street). But now they are nowhere to be seen again. Presumably they are off working on another project, at least that would be my guess. I doubt they have had the last 3 days off.
At least the guys doing your street will come back and finish, unlike a bankrupt solar company who got a half a billion dollar government guaranteed loan and disappeared.
