Another of my clients appears to have a crisis on his hands. Although I’m not entirely sure he may have a sort of employee revolt on his hand, a mass defection. Seems like odd timing to me.
However, I’ve been warning of something like this for a very, very long time at this particular account. I’m afraid they’re still not going to take my advice which is, essentially, just basic good management. They appear to favor palliating the situation rather than changing the policies that created it (which would mean changing how management behaves).
Has anybody ever pointed out that hard economic times bring business problems out in the open that may be overlooked during times when the economic prospects are brighter?
