The Watcher’s Council has announced its picks for the most outstanding posts of the preceding week. The winning Council post ShrinkWrapped’s post, “A Questionable Assumptionâ€. Second place honors went to Right Wing Nut House for “A Hinge of Historyâ€. The winning non-Council post was Eteraz’s must-read post (my nominee), “Muslim Musings on British Muslimsâ€. The second place non-Council post was The People’s Cube’s gallows-humor “Flat Fatima—Revolution in News Photographyâ€. Grief and outrage can be trivialized and even feigned. This will inevitably lead to hardness of heart and cynicism.
