My wife and I are waiting, eagerly, for the ceremonial start of the 2013 Iditarod. If you’re interesting in watching, you can do so by going to the Iditarod official web site. The ceremonial start is in about 45 minutes.
While you’re there check out the biographies of some of the competitors. They’re mostly from Alaska, of course, but there’s one local guy (from Addison, Illinois in suburban Chicago) and competitors from Canada, Norway, Russia, New Zealand, and, remarkably, from Jamaica and Brazil.
