Yesterday within the span of an hour I received an automated telephone call from my gas company confirming the appointment I’d made with them some time ago and a letter from the same gas company threatening me with disconnection if I didn’t make an appointment with them.
That doesn’t provide an overwhelming sense of organizational competence.
