Don’t Laugh

Here’s something my wife brought back from the conference she’s attending.

Don’t Laugh At Me (Peter, Paul, and Mary)

It’s the theme song of Operation Respect, an organization founded by Peter Yarrow of the folk group Peter, Paul, and Mary who was on hand to perform the song. My wife tells me there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

Operation Respect promotes an anti-bullying curriculum for schools. Although bullying may be invisible to adults, it’s far from that for the kids being bullied and the emotional scars can remain thoughout life.

  • Bullying isn’t very nice, but the self-respect that comes from standing up to them can last a lifetime as well. By the way, I like your blog. If you’d like to exchange links let me know.
