Another Day, Another Crime Revealed

There has been another document drop of Hillary Clinton emails, including emails that had previously been suppressed by Sec. Clinton and her personal staff. The Associated Press reports:

The latest emails were released under court order by the State Department to the conservative legal advocacy group Judicial Watch. The batch includes 34 new emails Clinton exchanged through her private account with her deputy chief of staff, Huma Abedin. The aide, who also had a private email account on Clinton’s home server, later gave her copies to the government.

The emails were not among the 55,000 pages of work-related messages that Clinton turned over to the agency in response to public records lawsuits seeking copies of her official correspondence. They include a March 2009 message where the then-secretary of state discusses how her official records would be kept.

“I have just realized I have no idea how my papers are treated at State,” Clinton wrote to Abedin and a second aide. “Who manages both my personal and official files? … I think we need to get on this asap to be sure we know and design the system we want.”

Failure to turn over emails concerning how she conducted her office is a violation of the Records Act. Warranting that she had turned over all official communications when she hadn’t is perjury. These are serious matters not minor regulatory infractions.

Not all Democrats are scofflaws – just the ones you hear about in the news.

    “Not all Democrats are scofflaws.”

Of course not. But my observation is that they are much more prone to close ranks around their own for purposes of achieving or maintaining political power than Republicans. Republicans resign. Democrats pound the table.

    Hooray for our side.

I think that’s somewhat but not universally true. To the extent that it is, I think it’s because the Democrats know that the media and other institutions will protect them. IOW, I don’t for a minute think that GOP are more ethical or virtuous- they are just more aware of their vulnerability.

    “Republicans resign. ”

Wide stance Larry and David Vitter would agree with you.

I think the people drawn into politics affiliated with the Republican Party do have a greater tendency towards ethics. No angels, mind you. But I think you make a good point.

The Democratic Party doesn’t really exist any more. Over the last twenty-four years it’s been turned into a political machine serving the interests of the Clintons and no longer has any other uniting set of principles and goals but their enrichment, along with the enrichment of their servants. It’s a money and power ATM.

  • The Democratic Party has consisted of an irreconcilable collection of conflicting interests for as long as I can recall. And avarice has always played its role. However, I don’t recall that being as pronounced and obvious as it is now.

I see, coincidence of all coincidence, that Bill Clinton “ran into” Loretta Lynch on the Tarmac, in her plane, recently. Amazing. But with such good and random fortune I guess they talked about grandchildren. How charming. No word from the administration, or media watchdogs, (snicker) on the propriety of a sitting attorney general whose FBI is conducting a criminal investigation of HRC having a meeting with her husband…….and former president.

It’s not just the Clinton’s. It’s Obama too. So brazen. So filthy.

It appears Ms Lerner made a strategic error. She failed to play golf in pleasingly cool 120 degree weather and then accidentally bump into Loretta Lynch on the Phoenix Tarmac to discuss grandchildren…….

I’ve changed my mind about Trump. If I were Obama you would say I’ve done a Pirouette. The fact that he’s not spending his own money or raising any for his campaign tells me he is not serious about becoming President. In fact I now believe he may be a Clintonista, clearing the field for Hill. If you the reader, want to become rich, figure out what Trump was promised by the Clinton’s to play this charade.
