I am the author of that series, and I just want to reiterate that my purpose behind that series was to introduce a new audience at the Newshog of my thought process on a subject, Iraq and counterinsurgency warfare, that I have written about on a frequent basis and will continue to do so. Therefore I did a whole lot of glossing over details but I should get back down into the weeds pretty soon.
