Wishful Thinking

It is not my practice to comment on local elections in states other than my own and I don’t plan to change that. However, I do see a lot of what I think is wishful thinking regarding the recall of San Francisco district attorney Chesa Boudin. They forget that the attempted recall of Kim Foxx as Cook County States Attorney failed. IMO if Boudin had been black he would not have been recalled.

I did look up Mr. Boudin’s biography. All I can say is with that pedigree how could the voters of San Francisco have elected him in the first place? How could they?

Between his pedigree, connections, Ivy League education, work for the Chavez administration in Venezuela, he is the model of the modern, Bay Area progressive politician.

Walt made an astute comment. Boudine sported the perfect social progressive credentials, which included having ultra radical parents, being a well educated intellectual, thinking outside of the law and order box, and thinking he was immune to accountability. I only hope Gaston has the same fate in Los
    Angeles.

Perhaps there are more radical progressive types in the Democrat Party, voters and politicians, than you choose to acknowledge. Look at the election of IL, NY and CA politicians. Big city mayors. Your buddy Reynolds was a big advocate of Kamala Harris for president.

Hell, Barack Obama described Emil Jones as his political godfather, and Bill Ayers house was a launching pad for him.

And with today’s Kavanaugh news the clips of the disgusting threats of Schumer and Pelosi are making the rounds. Except probably on NPR etc…..
