Oh fiddle-dee-dee. Could Molly Roberts possibly be this stupid? In her column in the Washington Post she wonders what Stormy Daniels could possibly want by telling her story about a sexual encounter with Donald Trump twelve years ago:
The first thing Stormy Daniels wants you to know is that she’s not a liar. Second, she’s not an opportunist. And third — and she will repeat it until you understand — she is not a victim. The question is why she cares so much that you know it.
How big a stretch is it to think that a woman who has sexual relations on film for public display is an exhibitionist?
I don’t like Trump. I don’t like his character, his temperament, or his casual ignorance. I wish he were not president. I didn’t vote for him. I find it bizarre that publications that have covered up and made excuses for Bill Clinton’s sexual escapades during his presidency devote so much attention Donald Trump’s a decade before his presidency.
Hilary Clinton is infinitely worse in every possible way, including sexual perversion and complicity in rape. If you will consider the alternative, we are lucky to have Trump, very, very lucky.
“I find it bizarre…………”
And further, anyone mystified by the attention paid by those media outlets could receive a paragraph beginning ‘Oh fiddle-dee-dee…
I’ll wager one of those shiny new dimes Anderson Cooper would straight faced and soberly explain how important it was to interview her. I wonder how he will look back on it 20 years from now.
” sexual perversion and complicity in rape.”
Of course, the same claims have been made about Trump.

I find it odd that you have failed to notice that sex scandals always get a lot of attention in our news. This sells especially well as this was the candidate heavily supported by the base of the GOP, evangelicals. The affairs, dont forget the Playboy bunny, went on right after the birth of his son, kind of a really rotten time to do that. But, I am sure Paula White has given him absolution. And I am sure it is just a coincidence that his spiritual adviser looks like a hooker.
Mostly, I am just surprised you would worry about the sex part. This won’t change the mind of any Trump supporters. His opponents won’t think any less of him. he only part that really matters is the legality of the campaign contribution. We certainly have precedence in going after Edwards on this, and it looks like we have better evidence in this case.

Not always. Sometimes they’re just swept under the rug.
I don’t worry about it and, honestly, I don’t much care whether Trump’s fortunes are injured by all of this stuff, helped, or no effect. I’m sorry we’re being forced to go through all of this.
I think most of the brouhaha is opportunistic and that’s really my point.
Which ones were swept under the rug in the cable TV era? JFK and Ike sure, but anything that involves a celebrity or a politician in the last 10-20 years gets lots of publicity. Clinton, Edwards, Spitzer, Weiner. Lots of inkand many pixels.

What could she want?
She’s a whore, she want’s money. Some beat reporter should follow that trail.
