You might want to take a look at these charts on job openings and hiring over at Clusterstock. I must say that they look to me as though the margin of error were probably larger than the margin of change and that just plain turbulence could explain the recent results. On the other hand, if it keeps up it will be good news.
And on the other other hand if another wave foreclosures materializes, it could well be Katy bar the door.
