This article from Ralph Peters brought tears to my eyes:
LAST week, I had an inspiring conversation with a Muslim-American. An immigrant from Pakistan, he hadn’t yet been granted citizenship, but he had more faith in America than our native-born elite does.
“I write to my brothers and sisters,” he said, “And I tell them that they do not know true Islam. If you want to see true Islam, you must come to America.”

The Kingdom of God for Christians and the Promised Land for Jews and True Islam for Muslims in the only country in the Western world that hasn’t had an established church in almost two hundred years. O brave new world that has such people in it!
Assalaamualaikum,
I m a sunni muslim boy in love woth a christian girl.. can i marry her with out converting her to islam? If Yes then what religion should our children follow? Please tell me according to Quran
Allahafiz !
Salam Wiakoum,
I am an American Christian woman who is ingaged to marry a Muslim man. I have two kids from a priviouse marriage, that like me are christians. My Muslim man and I plan that when we marry we will have two more kids. Yes I am a christian and he is a muslim and we still talk of our religions to each other not to convert each other but to see the simularities in our two religions. As a Christian I still have read the Qur’an so I can understand his religion better to help myself respect my future husband and his religous choice. I even pray 5 times a day with him but I pray to my God when he prays to his Allah. He has even celebrates Christmas with me and my two kids. We keep strong faith in our own reigions while at the same time respecting the other at the same time. We decided that when it comes to our children and thier religous choice it is up to our childern in what belief they want to have even if that means that they choose something other then that of my future hubands and mine. Religion is in our hearts and our Family blood is thicker then Water so no matter how many different religions is in our family we are first most a family and will always respect eachother and our choices. So far my this is what our family looks like My future husband is Muslim and I am an American (with no Egyptian blood)that attends an Egyptian Christian Coptic Church, My daughter is a non denominational Christian and my son is a Cathlic/Christian. So as you can see we have four completely different religions in our family but we find way to make it work between us. This only goes to show that there can truely be peace between such a divided religous family.
So if you truely love each other and as long as you all agree to believe in only one God then anything can be possiable. I am not muslim but I do remind and correct my muslim man of anything that he is not doing according to his Qur’an and he does he same for me in my beliefs. But remember that there still might be that slim chance that someone might deside to change religions and if so then this should be accepted with opened arms. for this is what it says in both the Christian Holy Bible and the Holy Qur’an. For the mean time you should take the kids with you to the masque on fridays and she should take them to her christian church on Sudays until the childern diside for them selves on what religion that they want to follow.
Sincerely, AMW/SZC
God Bless You &
Insha Allah.
I am a Christian girl in love with a Muslim boy. We are together for almost two years and we are planning to get married. We found some difficulties already, and first of all, my parents, who still didn’t completely accepted our love. We both respect each other as a human, including also our religions. What matter is your heart and soul. What you need is only love. It doesn’t matter if you are coming from another country, or your skin color, or even your religion. What really matters is you. I really love him and I’m fighting for our love. I thank God that He sent him into my life, because he makes every moment so special, with his love and caring.
Thank you for listening to me.
