So, one down and one to go. Will the second Democratic presidential candidate debate be a rerun of last night’s or will it be the “Biden and Bernie Show” with the two principals squaring off against each other and the other eight lining up behind one or the other (my prediction would be everybody lining up behind Biden)?
My prediction is that the 2nd debate will attract even more viewers than yesterday’s, which garnered over 17 million – far greater than the anticipated 9 million. I also think that Biden will be on the hot seat with Trump getting defamed more than he did in last night’s first round.
The learning curve will also be in effect, with fewer technical difficulties, with tonight’s candidates hitting points not achieved on Wednesday, while avoiding some of the unfortunate gaffes or miscues. For instance, candidates pandering to Hispanic voters by turning to Spanish has had mixed reviews.
Pet peeve: “bilingual” does not mean you are able to speak two languages. It means that you speak two languages with the fluency of a native speaker. Neither Beto O’Rourke nor Cory Booker are bilingual.
Didn’t watch the second one either, but the word is Harris sprung a pre-planned race card trap on Joe. And every candidate promises to perform late-term abortions on transgendered Guatemalan illegal immigrants with his or her bare hands………….for free of course.
Harris’ punch line at Joe is now a tee shirt for sale on her website.

I heard she went grades 3 through 12 in Quebec.
That’s accurate. However, any claims that she is not an American citizen are stupid and counter-productive.
