The Watcher’s Council has announced its picks for the most outstanding posts of the preceding week. The winning Council post was Rhymes with Right’s post, “MLK Day—It’s a Singular Holidayâ€. Second place honors went to Andrew Olmsted’s critique of the Fairness Doctrine, “The Beauty of ‘Fairness’â€.
The winning non-Council post was Small Wars Journal Blog’s, “A Framework for Thinking About Iraq Strategyâ€. In second place was Confederate Yankee’s post, “AP: Discrediting Jamil’s Sourceâ€. I’m very gratified at this result since these were the posts I voted for and I nominated the winner.
By all means read the SWJ Blog post. Written by Australian David Kilcullen it’s an important clarification of a difficult subject. There are no solutions there let alone easy ones. I may have more to write about this post later.
For a complete list of the results see here.
Agreed on the SWJ post. I’m glad that Dave & company began a blog.
Good set of posts this week.
Cheers.
