Take Them At Their Word

In my view the simplest, most obvious way to figure out the objectives of radical Islamists is to take them at their word. It’s not entirely clear to me why we have refused to do that so steadfastly. Perhaps the implications are too unsettling.

You may not be aware of it but DAESH has a monthly magazine. In its most recent number via BreakIsraelNews this explanation is provided:

The fact is, even if you were to stop bombing us, imprisoning us, torturing us, vilifying us, and usurping our lands, we would continue to hate you because our primary reason for hating you will not cease to exist until you embrace Islam,” the article concludes.

Perhaps, Mr. Khun, Hillary Clinton, President Obama, or any prominent Democrat could head over to Syria and explain to ISIS that Islam is a religion of peace. They could explain that it is Republicans and Trump supporters they really hate.

Hating and committing revenge attacks are two different things.

Islam is Europe’s problem, geopolitically. Or should have been.
But US imperial intervention in European affairs has left it in a weakened and occupied state, and in part by Americanizing many.

The healthiest parties in Germany say “Merkel to Siberia, Putin to Berlin.” And Yankees OUT! Europe must detach itself from Zionist-dominated US foreign policy, indeed Jean Marie Le Pen proposed to do just that in a tradeoff with Saddam Hussein taking many Muslims living in France. In turn a Eurasian Union would be a strong bulwark
    against jihadism.

American troops and bases out of the Mideast and out of Europe.
Aid to Israel cut off, ditto Saudi Arabia. The desire for revenge will
reduce to mere hatred and what is left can be guarded against with a Trump-Buchanan immigration policy.
Some takfiris might have to be expelled, but with a swap that included liberating the West Bank and Samaria on the way out of their lands.

I think I’ve probably read most of the jihadi magazines over the years and, like any set of western magazines, there are differences when it comes to ideology, justifications and strategy along with changes is tone and content over time and based on circumstances. The article in the current issue of Dabiq is but one view among many, though it represents a non-trivial portion of the extremist Islamic cohort. This specific article is probably also propaganda designed to highlight ISIS external operations given that events in the Caliphate aren’t going so well.
