Sitemeter odometer rolls over 100,000

Sometime this morning the Sitemeter counter counted the 100,000^th hit at The Glittering Eye after a little more than a year of operation. Honestly, the site has had more visitors than that—I’d already had two Instalanches before I installed the counter. And Webalizer (a statistics program that works with the actual transaction logs) tells me that I’ve had more than 1,000,000 hits over the past year (many if not most of those are various sorts of bots, spammers, etc.).

The genuine figures are, no doubt, somewhere in between. I’m pretty sure I also need to modify another template to include the meter.

Nonetheless it’s gratifying. Thanks for all of the support, everybody. Y’all come back now!
