A bit OT maybe but somehow I missed this story about detective Guevara in Chicago. Is this generally accepted as true? If so, then the Chicago PD is even worse than I thought.

It’s been news around here for quite a while. Note that most of his misdeeds took place 30-40 years ago. You can find some that happened more recently.
The systemic problems are cops defending their own and the city paying for the misdeeds of police officers who were not acting in a way consistent with city policy.
