As you said months ago, Trump’s strategy was to use the media to make up for his millions of other problems. And he has been using them. Nobody has to plan stories about Trump. Anti-Trump stories comes straight from the source.

Trump has quite a media machine. He attracts attention. If you live in the NE, you have seen him a lot. I have never been sure why he merited so much attention, but then I am not a celeb type. Rich people who brag about themselves do seem to get a lot of attention. At any rate, being able to draw attention won him the primary.

Now , he needs to appeal beyond his base. They will vote for him no matter what he does. In bed with both a dead girl and a live boy? Hey, Donald is not politically correct. He won’t let the liberal media tell him who to sleep with. Next, there are those who hate Hillary so much they will vote for Donald no matter what he does. Hillary has her counterparts. Those who are leftover look as though they can actually be shifted a bit. His attacks on the Khan family really seemed to hurt him.

The thing to remember is that Trump cannot stand not being the center of attention. There have been, and will be, times when he should just shut up and let Clinton suffer from her own mistakes. I don’t think Trump can do that.
